According to the Japan Used Motor Vehicle Exporters Association (JUMVEA),
the units of used cars exported from Japan were 119.89 thousand in
September 2008, which is 20.7% more than those in September 2007. The
units exported to Russia were in fine tone and those to Chili, the hub
of South America were drastically increased by 51.9%.
The units exported from January to September in 2008 were 1.05 million.
